Closings, Openings, and Changes. Find it here in our Bi-Monthy News Section……. ~All the rumors appear to be untrue. Here is a message we received from
someone in Karma Management, "This is an official notice that Karma is not, I
repeat, is not closing! We, the proprietors, have had this rumor spread from the moment we
opened on August 7, 1997. We are doing better than ever. With regards, Srinivas
Reddy"
~Liquid Kitty owners have expanded dancefloor and will no longer be in
the movie biz.
~Club Bellagio is now DEAD. This club had been opened since late 1998.
~The club known as Inta's has changed location and is now at the old
spot that was Dennis Rodman's Illusions. At the old Inta's location is THE BUZZ, a new
restaurant/lounge.
~Club DVS opened recently. Extreme Electronica environment. 1529 W.
Armitage - 708-344-2029
~Stardust Closed after a decent run. Rednofive is now at this location
on Hubbard & Halsted. DJ lineups include Mark Grant, Derrick Carter, and others.
Tuesdays are Jazzid (industry night), House & Progressive night is on Thursday and
Material Fridays return at Rednofive.
~In case you haven't heard, Dome Room has closed and is now AURA.
~River West Brewery has turned into Club Sugar Hill, Saturdays are
straight Hip-Hop
~XL, located in greektown keeps the after-hours crowd going well after
5am.
~Baja Beach Club changes Saturday atmosphere. Now features Spanish
Rock/ Salsa/Latin Vibes.
